Doctor of Physical Therapy
Cameron is the Doctor of Physical Therapy on staff at Summit, he is also the lead on numerous research projects that we perform in house. Cameron completed his Orthopedics Residency at the University of Virginia, and is also a board certified athletic trainer. Prior to Summit Cameron played division three and baseball at Roanoke College, where he was an all conference pitcher while obtaining a degree in athletic training. Cameron takes a revolutionary approach to keeping our athletes healthy, he ensures that he is supplementing their performance training rather than hindering their development as many medical professionals do. With Cameron's playing background he has an incredible feel for what an athlete is experiencing on a daily basis. Cameron was the missing link to our staff, since joining Summit we have been able to provide the highest level of performance training. We now can help work through injuries in house while keeping a tight feedback loop with our sport trainers, strength and conditioning coaches and Cameron, and get our guys back on the field faster and at a higher level than before. This level of training was something that was previously only available to professional athletes.
